World to still be here through 2012

Apparently the folks at NASA fresh off their correct prediction that the asteroid which passed by Earth earlier this week wouldn't kill us all, have gotten a little cocky. These so-called scientists, with their newfound confidence are now predicting that the world won't end next year. That is bold, NASA, that is bold You sit around with your high-tech, mumbo jumbo, sciencey stuff while some of us are doing actual calculations based on arbitrary numbers from long dead cultures. Well, I for one am not giving up my stockpiles of duct tape and canned foods just yet.
