Ed

Editor-in-Chief
Ed was born on a day when the sun didn't shine, which is not all that impressive when you consider how dark Northern Michigan is year-round. After a below average high school career -- that peaked when he correctly answered the only knowledge bowl question he ever attempted -- Ed enrolled at Michigan State University. Nine years and three degrees later he makes his living as a psychological researcher at George Mason University. Ed enjoys satire, anachronisms, and the occasional waffle. (@edomaniac)

Jordan
Associate Editor
An enigma, inside a mystery, wrapped in bacon, this blogger/scientist/clinician grew up a farm boy in the thumb of Michigan. Eschewing his humble country roots he decided to pursue intellectual greatness and notoriety. To that end he is now a predoctoral neuropsychology intern at the VA in Milwaukee making the equivalent of minimum wage. Jordan enjoys roller derbying, judging hipsters, and team trivia. Jordan dislikes anthropomorphism, celery, and most children. (@NeuroJay).

Dean
Associate Editor
Like any good story, this one begins on a Tuesday and Don Cheadle is a supporting character. But enough about Rush Hour, Dean is a stand-up guy who, though occasionally leaning, can be found most often sitting in an office building in downtown Chicago. Following a successful theatrical run at Central Michigan University, he moved straight to the top. There, on the landing of his parents' staircase, he collected his things and set off for the city. Dean lives in a modest one-bedroom apartment with his dear wife and television. He studies and performs comedy here and there and is a big fan of wordplay, swordplay and pressing play. (Dean cannot be followed on Twitter, his wife is afraid of birds).

Ben
Associate Editor, Head of Social Media Relations
Ben is a self-described techno sponge: He's wired-in and tends to run the social media end of SSPPLL. Ben met Ed while attending Michigan State University. After college he worked as a news videographer in Lansing for a time before turning his talents with technology into a support position in northern Illinois. When he's not restoring order to the universe, he can be found reading, commenting and taking pictures. He draws far too much inspiration and guidance from Mystery Science Theater 30000. You can find him just about everywhere, starting at about.mrbenalexander.com.
