The Washington Post reports on a (small) movement within the house of representatives to promote civil discussions between members of each party. The "Center Aisle Caucus," currently at 47 members, promotes civil discussions by congress members to discover the "30 percent" of the time that they can agree on issues. My favorite part is that they don't accept applications, lets some individuals "put it on their rsum and then go out and act like flame-throwers on the floor." I think it is a great idea, but I don't see their membership experiencing much growth, especially with an election year coming.
