Ten Great Research Graphics

I'm a sucker for good research graphics. I don't know if it was because I always wanted to be an artist or because as a researcher you are subjected to hours upon hours of horrible powerpoint displays. Regardless, Wired has collected some great ones. You don't even have to be a scientist to understand or appreciate them (both hallmarks of a great graphic).

My personal favorite is this graphic analyzing tweets to examine mood patterns.
